Job Summary: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain DoD Personnel Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The position serves as the USAG Bavaria Alternate Real Property Accountable Officer and works under the general supervision of the Primary Real Property Accountable Officer and Chief, Master Planning / Real Property Division within the Department of Public Works.

Major Duties:

  • Responsible for planning, organizing and the operational oversight and direction of the acquisition of real property, management of real property, and for the disposal of real property.
  • Serves as the Garrison Alternate Real Property Accountable Officer (RPAO) accountable for all real property assets at USAG Bavaria.
  • Manages the preparation and update of the Real Property Physical inventory (RPI). reviews and accepts DD Forms 1354 ensuring that procedures relating to the transfer and acceptance of real property are adhered to.
  • Presents reports and briefings on real property actions.
  • Responsible for entry and overseeing all Entries into Real Property Accountable System.
  • Co-coordinates the plans, schedules, directs and assigns work of the Real Property Branch team with RPAO.

Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes applying real property principles, policies and methods in acquisition, management, and disposal of real estate and real property assets AND Co-coordinating and planning work of the Real Property Branch team with Real Property Accountable Officers. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
