Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Role

The Real Estate Portfolio Strategy and Transaction Manager is the connective tissue between global portfolio strategy and transaction execution at Salesforce. This is a senior individual contributor and managerial role that bridges the analytical rigor of the Strategy team with the deal-making acumen of the Transactions team — operating at a global scale and owning outcomes.
A core mandate of this role is driving cross-region standardization across portfolio strategy and transaction processes — establishing consistent frameworks, reporting cadences, and communications approaches that enable REWS to operate as a unified global function rather than a collection of regional silos.

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the VP, Real Estate Portfolio & Transactions

Key Responsibilities

Global Portfolio Strategy & Transaction Management

* Own the end-to-end strategy-to-execution pipeline for major metro hub markets globally, ensuring analytical inputs from the Strategy team are fully integrated into transaction decisions
* Inform proactive portfolio actions including site consolidations, footprint optimizations, blend-and-extend strategies, and exit planning
* Serve as the primary point of integration between RE Strategy (market analytics, capacity modeling, investment prioritization) and RE Transactions (deal structuring, lease negotiation, financial modeling), eliminating handoff gaps and ensuring continuity
* Drive and own the global investment prioritization framework in partnership with the VP — translating multi-variate portfolio data into clear, ranked action plans for executive review

Strategic Translation & Executive Enablement

* Translate complex regional and global portfolio data into actionable real estate roadmaps for the VP and senior leadership — serving as a key deputy
* Proactively identify strategic risks and opportunities across the global portfolio, and bring forward recommendations before they are requested

Cross-Region Standardization, Reporting & Communications

* Own and drive the global standardization of portfolio strategy and transaction processes across regions — establishing consistent playbooks, decision frameworks, and evaluation criteria that reduce regional inconsistency and improve portfolio outcomes
* Design and maintain a cross-regional reporting infrastructure that surfaces portfolio performance, transaction pipeline, and strategic risk in a unified, executive-ready format
* Lead comms planning around major standardization initiatives — partnering with Strategy Managers, Transaction Directors, and regional leads to ensure alignment, adoption, and clear change narratives across REWS
* Ensure every real estate decision is deeply integrated with Business Partner requirements, workforce plans, and long-term organizational goals
* Serve as the senior RE point of contact for cross-functional partners in Finance, Legal, HR, and Business Units on portfolio strategy matters
* Partner with Strategy Managers on market-level analyses and with Transaction Directors on deal execution — coordinating, not duplicating their work

Team Development & Organizational Influence

* Mentor and develop Senior Analyst-level talent across the Strategy and Transactions interface
* Build scalable processes, frameworks, and tools that improve how Strategy and Transactions collaborate globally
* Represent the VP in cross-functional forums and help shape how REWS communicates its portfolio strategy internally and externally

Qualifications Required

* Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field
* 6+ years of experience spanning both real estate portfolio strategy AND transactions (not one or the other)
* Demonstrated ability to integrate analytical strategy outputs into transaction execution at scale
* Strong financial modeling skills and experience structuring complex, multi-market real estate decisions
* Proven executive communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working in or alongside a large corporate real estate organization

Preferred

* Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams within a real estate organization
* Familiarity with lease negotiations, blend-and-extend strategies, site consolidations, and investment prioritization frameworks
* MBA or Consulting experience preferred

Skills & Competencies

* Global strategic thinking with the ability to translate data into executive-ready decisions
* Ability to operate at the intersection of strategy and execution without losing sight of either
* Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing without authority
* Excellent written and verbal communication; executive presence
* High comfort with ambiguity and the ability to set direction when structure doesn't yet exist
* People development and team-building mindset
