We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Lease Contract Analyst to support the management of Levi Strauss & Co.’s United States real estate portfolio. This role is responsible for managing the third-party vendor and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely administration of lease data across ~350 locations, providing essential support to real estate operations, accounting, and cross‑functional partners. This role will be based in Mexico City.

 

About the Job 

Manage Documents and Data

  • Coordinate with the third‑party lease abstraction team to ensure newly executed agreements are accurately and promptly abstracted into the lease database; conduct thorough data quality reviews.

  • Conduct thorough data quality reviews to confirm that naming conventions and abstracted data follows the set standards.

  • Maintain and update the lease database for ad hoc updates, ensuring data integrity related to notices, option expirations, and other critical lease milestones.

  • Manage and organize digital real estate documentation in compliance with internal control requirements.

  • Manage incoming scanned mail.

Reporting

  • Track lease execution and abstraction for quarterly reporting on new agreements.

  • Create, format, and distribute lease‑related reports—frequently using Excel—to support recurring and ad hoc requests.

  • Support quarterly and annual reporting related to lease obligations.

Lease Admin Operational Support

  • Initiate and monitor the processing of new vendor set-ups and banking changes.

  • Apply foundational finance and rent‑related knowledge to support payment processing and accounting activities.

  • Coordinate with the company’s insurance broker to facilitate insurance certificate requests with landlords.

  • Administer the tenant allowance process, including collecting required construction documentation, submitting to landlords, and tracking reimbursements.  

  • Draft professional lease‑related correspondence, including letters and estoppel certificates, for communication with landlords.  

  • Participate in weekly retail real estate calls to provide information and support to our retail real estate team.

  • In partnership with Global Lease Administrator, document processes and implement process improvements.

 

About You 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Real Estate, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, lease administration, or contract management.

  • Strong working knowledge of contracts, lease abstraction, and contract administration; ability to interpret complex English language legal agreements.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience using database systems and generating detailed reports (Lucernex experience preferred). (Preferred)

  • Strong Excel proficiency for pulling, reviewing, comparing data. (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of industry best practices in lease administration. (Preferred)

This is a hybrid work schedule based in our Polanco Office in Mexico City. We expect you in office 3 days per week, typically Monday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on needs.
