Overall Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable automation test scripts using Playwright
- Maintain and enhance the automation frameworks to improve test efficiency
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand testing requirements
- Automate regression, functional, and API tests
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test outcomes
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Report on automation test results, bugs, and performance issues
- Update documentation related to test cases, frameworks, and procedures
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and automation best practices
Software Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation tool
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for scripting
- Experience with Selenium, WebDriver, or similar tools is a plus
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Version control proficiency with Git
- Basic understanding of Docker for containerized test environments
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA and TestRail

Experience:
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in QA Automation, specifically with Playwright or similar frameworks
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Developing, reviewing, and maintaining automation test scripts for UI and API tests
- Collaborating with developers, manual QA, and DevOps teams
- Running automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and analyzing outcomes
- Troubleshooting automation failures and debugging scripts
- Continuously enhancing the automation framework for reusability and efficiency
- Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings
- Updating the test documentation and reporting defects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Proven experience with Playwright and automation frameworks
- Certifications in testing or automation is a plus
