Our Santena plant is part of our Brain Division, the market leader in parking and driving assistance components. Valeo Smart Cookpit Italy is specialized in Switches, Human Machine Interface (HMI) control panels and displays. It offers added value in terms of service, flexibility, product know-how and in-depth knowledge of its customers to fully understand their needs and offer them optimal solutions.

As a R&D Trainee in Valeo ISC Italy, in Santena, you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, in the electronics development working in an
international and multicultural environment.

Mission:

• Perform activities in compliance with Metier Development Plan of his/her PG/PL;
  

• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications;
  

• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets;
  

• Support technical architecture and standards assignments;
  

• Follow Standardization rules;
  

• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers.
  

• Analyse customer requirements, legal regulations and internal specification to be applied in Testing strategies of products;
  

• Develop test programs, process and systems to measure product functionality and integrality in the electrical and programming domains;
  

• Analyse test cases and failure, providing scenarios and proposing actions based on results;
  

• Analyse the customer specifications, legal requirements and internal specifications towards the development of test plans;
  

• Support the creation of test equipment specifications and tester hardware specifications used in the development of automated test rack systems;
  

• Perform validation, capabilities, test coverage and stability performance of testers;
  

• Support transition of newly developed processes into series production, providing process / equipment specification and qualification;
  

Desired skills and experience:
• Engineering Degree.
• Fluent English
