Job Title: UX Designer

The job  

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced UX/UI practitioner to design innovative end-user experiences for our enterprise software applications. You will be joining a global UX team who enjoy solving problems with design to deliver original and well thought-out solutions. Collaborating with product managers, developers and customers, you will champion the best designs for our users.

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Responsible for UX deliverables across a range of projects, from early concepts through to high fidelity interaction design
  • Work with product management to help define UX vision across various products, balancing user needs and business requirements
  • Understand company goals and objectives to help set priorities
  • Contribute to and promote the AVEVA Design System across all products

 

Essential requirements

  • 4-5+ years’ UX experience backed by a portfolio of user-centered design solutions
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, both to management and junior staff
  • Experience of working with Windows and Web specifying UI guidelines
  • Sketching designs with pencil & paper and digital tools
  • Proven track record in producing high quality UX and UI deliverables: user journeys, workflows, wireframes and detailed interaction specifications
  • Capable of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand how to apply AVEVA Design System, Microsoft, and Material Design guidelines

Desired skills and competencies

  • A degree or work experience in HCI or UX/UI
  • Experience with UX in an Agile environment
  • Understanding of technical requirements and how they affect UX Design

Hybrid working
