Opportunity to complete your internship in the field of navigated cranial neurosurgery. Following a successful internship, there is an opportunity to write a thesis.
Develop prototypes for our surgical navigation system and contribute with a proof-of-concept application.
Become an integral part of an international and interdisciplinary Research & Development team.
Contribute to our state-of-the-art navigation and imaging system using C++, Python, and/or Matlab.
Apply the latest technologies in machine learning, geometric algorithms, knowledge representation, and information retrieval.
Conduct independent research in the field of surgery and transform innovative ideas into practical, value-adding solutions.
That makes you stand out
Ideally, you are enrolled in a master's program in a field such as computer science, medical technology, or a related discipline.
You have experience with object-oriented programming and frameworks such as Qt and OpenCV.
You have strong mathematical skills and enjoy applying them to real-world problems.
You are motivated by challenging tasks in the field of medical technology.
You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
You work independently, are highly motivated, and eager to take on responsibility quickly.
Duration of your internship: 6 months (full-time)
Type of internship: We offer voluntary internships alongside your studies or compulsory internships/practical semesters, and a combination of both
