As R&D Expert in Data Acquisition, you are responsible for data acquisition at the test rigs at Accelleron’s Test Center in Baden. The role covers the full lifecycle of measurement data, including acquisition, reduction, analysis, and data management.
Your responsibilities
- Providing state-of-the-art measurement hardware and software for internal and field measurements to ensure reliable data acquisition, reduction, and analysis.
- Support and further develop data management processes.
- Develop specifications for hardware and software upgrades or new measurement tasks, review concepts and products, and lead implementation projects.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with documentation requirements for products and services throughout their entire life cycle.
- Accountable for the efficiency, quality, and availability of assigned software tools.
- Responsible for defining calibration intervals and ensuring their timely execution.
- Validation and plausibility checking of calibration data to ensure data quality.
- Informing and training users on changes and temporary restrictions.
- Monitoring customer and user needs and initiating adjustments when gaps are identified.
Your background
- University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar).
- Several years of successful working experience in a position involving measurement data acquisition and analysis.
- Conceptional and analytical thinking, result-orientation, collaboration and networking skills, intercultural communication skills, open-minded personal & change leadership.
- Stand-up, give orientation and create commitment in assigned technology area.
- Communication and share of know-how, ideas and suggestions in a recipient adequate and understandable manner.
- Act as an entrepreneur by considering the corporate interest.
- Fluency in English and German.
