DESCRIPTION:
As an Engineer I in Product Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to advancing our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll contribute to developing and improving assay products and analytical methods while working with laboratory automation solutions and diagnostic technologies. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements and innovation, provide technical documentation and support, and ensure compliance with quality standards. REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree required; prior experience required in pharmaceutical, industrial, or laboratory environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related scientific field
• Expertise in GMP, GDP, GLP and quality system implementation is a plus
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as chromatography such as RP-HPLC, IEX-HPLC and WD is a must and in (SEC-MALS, , LC-MS), protein chemistry, and bioassays is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience with laboratory instrumentation
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and ability to work in BSL2 environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent documentation and technical writing abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Experience with laboratory information systems and quality documentation preferred
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility and professional mindset in a deadline-oriented environment
• Fluent level of French and basic intermediate level of English language are a must.
