POSITION SUMMARY: 

Execute all color related matters for in-region materials used by PVH. Make

Certain that these materials used by PVH can achieve delivery as the approved

Standard and with the required level of performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

• Timely follow up, review and commentary on any and all color submits for approval submitted to the regional/hub office.  Elevating any color issues, as necessary, that would delay timely production orders to brand teams.
• Establish color standards for the materials sourced in the hub/region area.
• Examine and advise comments on any shade band color issues or any shading issues for sample yardage or for bulk. Understand that timely response to cutter and to mill is critical in maintaining delivery.
• Long term goal** Work with team to approve key/tier 1 mills for self-color approval. Work with Director of Color to implement self-approval program.
• Provide support to PVH offshore offices, when necessary, when they have questions on color issues for any fabrics in the region/hub area of responsibility.
• Work on the digital measurement using Spectrophotometer through Natific System.
• Work with factory to ensure to measure all the colors using Natific systems on Digital Measurement.

Internal:       Overseas offices, NY Garment sourcing teams, NY Fabric teams, Color Manager, Senior Colorist, Raw Material Team leader, brand teams, wash technician

External:      Mills, Garment Factories

• Must be able to operate in an environment of changing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:           3 - 5 more year’s industry experience

Education:             Related technical degree

Skills:           Knowledge of knits, woven’s, yarn, dyeing and finishing.  Must possess strong communication skills. Must be a team player.  Needs to have understanding of total supply chain from Concept to Consumer. Must have leadership skills and a positive, optimistic “can – do “attitude
