We are hiring for an experience, senior technical programme lead to join a technical team delivering to the Rates and cross-asset trading businesses. You will be defining and setting up processes to help plan, track and manage dependencies and issues.

You will be performing a range of activities including helping shape projects, architecture, financials. You will be expected to set up an operating model for your peers to operate in that facilitates efficiency software development. This is a front-office facing role and you will have the opportunity to work directly with front-office Trading and Sales.

Your key responsibilities

  • Set up, operate and drive an Agile programme management process for front-office technology delivery. This role is to facilitate empowering the development platform heads to become more efficient.

  • Bring together and communicate roadmaps across business facing and technology facing deliveries at multiple levels.

  • Work with the tech and business COO team to align budgets to programmes and priorities.

  • Work with the trading business product owners to help co-ordinate and drive their deliveries.

  • Using your business and technical experience drive technical, architectural and sequencing outcomes for Rates, GEM and Credit related projects.

Your skills and experience

  • This is a Technical Programme Management role, not a Programme Management role– individual needs to have prior experience running development teams, able to drop into low level technical detail and distil this into key updates and conclusions

  • Experience setting up and driving Agile programme or projects, set up and refine op models from ground up, and transforming cultures around planning in a modern engineering environment.

  • Experience working in technology in a Rates business

  • Experience working with senior and desk-level front-office environment, in particular Rates and ideally across flow and non-flow products

  • Have exceptional communication skills and relationship building success at all levels.
