Department Overview

We aim to strengthen our corporate mobile services and grow them into a core business pillar. By leveraging the accelerating adoption of Digital Transformation (DX) in businesses, we provide innovative services that maximize mobile technology to solve our customers' challenges.

This position belongs to the Service Planning Department and is responsible for planning and providing optimal solutions, primarily centered on mobile services, to address the needs and challenges of corporate customers. You will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology, create innovative services that change society, and experience personal growth through collaboration with diverse industries. You will be able to take charge from planning to implementation with significant autonomy.

In this position, you will be assigned to Solution Services Development Department 1 and will be responsible for overall product management activities, including service planning and sales promotion.

After joining the company, you will initially oversee information security and physical security solutions, with opportunities to take on a broader range of products over time.

Position Details

You will primarily be responsible for planning and developing corporate products and services unique to Rakuten Mobile, ranging from standard enterprise mobile voice/data services to strategic initiatives that combine third-party services and B2B solutions offered by Rakuten Group companies.

Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the Group, we aim to create distinctive value that only Rakuten can deliver to our customers. We are seeking individuals who are eager to create innovative services not offered by traditional carriers and who are motivated to develop initiatives that embody Rakuten’s uniqueness and competitive strengths.

Recommended Experience in Service Planning

 

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

・At least three years of experience in B2B roles within the IT industry

・Experience in planning functions, or a strong interest in transitioning into a planning role

・Comfortable communicating and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders

 

Desired Qualifications:

・Experience working with security products or in the areas of networks, IT infrastructure, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

・Project management experience, including planning, development, and implementation projects

・Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to engage and mobilize stakeholders
