Engage, Build and Drive
We are currently recruiting for an experienced maintenance and/or production supervisor to fill the role located at our Edmonton Quarry.
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role will be multi-faceted role responsible for supervising quarry operations with a focus on production enhancement and preventative maintenance planning.
In your new role, you will be:
- Supervising the day-to-day production of operations and making decisions that impact the overall performance of the business
- Planning and organising preventative maintenance activities and managing contractors to ensure plant shutdowns are efficient and effective
- Managing people while bringing your team along for the journey to successfully achieve goals
- Bringing a strong safety mindset, manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others
- Supporting the management of general ledger accounts on a monthly P&L statement
This role is a great fit for you, if you have:
- A restricted quarry managers certificate of competency will be highly regarded (but not essential)
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience (essential)
- Experience in preventative maintenance planning and execution
- Have strong interpersonal skills and can effectively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Are a team player who can make effective decisions under pressure
- Are results focused and self-motivated, having a total commitment to risk management and visible leadership
