The role
We are looking for a Quarries Inspector to join our team for a hydropower project based in KPK. This role focuses on inspection, monitoring, quality assurance, and reporting of quarry operations using relevant engineering standards and tools. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications, ensuring that materials are sourced and managed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, supporting the timely and successful completion of the project.

• Inspect and monitor quarry operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure the quality of extracted materials (stone, gravel, sand, etc.) meets engineering and project requirements.
• Maintain records and prepare regular reports on quarry activities, production, and quality checks.
• Identify and report any safety, operational, or environmental issues at the quarry site.
• Coordinate with project engineers and contractors to ensure timely material delivery.
• Ensure all operations follow environmental regulations and sustainable practices.
• Assist in implementing best practices for efficiency, safety, and quality in quarry operations.

With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field)
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in quarry operations, material inspection, or construction material testing.
• Experience working in the construction industry and familiarity with hydropower construction projects.
• Knowledge of testing methods for aggregates, rocks, and other construction materials.
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on-site in remote locations and under challenging conditions.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
