As part of the development of our activities in Sweden, we are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our project team on the Stegra project.
YOUR FUTURE ENVIRONMENT
The Marine & Overseas Division carries out large-scale infrastructure projects internationally, including in the fields of energy, water treatment and complex structures.
The STEGRA project, located in Boden, Sweden, involves the construction of a green steelworks and an electrolysis plant powered by renewable electricity and water from the Lule River. The facility will produce 5 million tonnes of green steel per year by 2030. Eiffage is responsible for:
Water Treatment Plant (WTP2)
Hydrogen Manufacturing Plant (HMP)
You will join the Project Control team on the Stegra project. You will work closely with our partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate financial and quantity tracking for this complex project.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As Quantity Surveyor for the Stegra project, you will be a key player in project cost control and financial oversight, with a focus on quantity verification and commercial protection. Your responsibilities will include:
Cost Control & Financial Verification:
Perform meticulous cost control by verifying delivered quantities against contractual agreements.
Thoroughly check and scrutinize invoices to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies, protecting the project from incorrect billing and potential client payment disputes.
Ensure all necessary documentation is in place and precisely corresponds to the actual measurements and contractual agreements.
Supplier and Partner Tracking:
Monitor the delivery of key materials, such as concrete, from suppliers.
Track all activities performed by our partners, ensuring alignment with project plans and quantities.
Technical Interpretation & Documentation:
Demonstrate strong technical competence by accurately reading and interpreting engineering plans and drawings.
Ensure all project documents, including technical specifications and measurements (métrés), are consistent and up-to-date.
Project Control & Reporting:
Contribute to planning and cost management activities, providing critical data from a construction background perspective.
Provide regular updates and reports to Damien and the assigned Project Manager on quantity and cost-related matters
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in construction or civil works operations.
Proven ability to read and interpret engineering plans and drawings is essential.
Experience in cost control, quantity verification, and invoice management within complex construction projects.
Comfortable with financial aspects, including invoice processing and cost analysis.
Strong attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and meticulousness in data verification.
Languages: English is mandatory (written and spoken).
Available for an immediate start.
Work Environment: This is an office-based role; you will not be permanently on-site, but will maintain a close connection with site operations through data and documentation.
