Job Description:
Preparation of Inspection Instructions
- Writing and developing inspection instructions in SOLIDWORKS, including analysis of drawing requirements, GD&T, and translating them into clear measurement guidelines.
- Selecting measurement equipment according to accuracy and tolerance requirements.
- Updating existing inspection instructions based on engineering changes.
- Working closely with Quality, Development, and Process engineers.
Measurement Equipment and Calibration Management
- Managing the inventory of measurement devices using the Matrix system, including tagging, traceability, and location tracking.
- Updating calibration records using the PDM system.
- Planning calibration activities with external accredited laboratories.
- Creating purchase orders for equipment and calibration services.
- Performing internal calibrations according to work instructions.
- Receiving calibration certificates and analyzing the results.
Professional Support for Product Measurement
- Training employees in the proper use of measurement equipment and measurement methods.
- Performing Transfer‑to‑Production (TTP) tests on the production floor and documenting them within the inspection instructions.
Job Requirements:
- Practical Engineer (Mechanical/Quality)
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and experience in measurement work
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS – required
- Experience working in a PDM environment – an advantage
- Ability to read and understand inspection documents and technical specifications – technical English
