Starting Pay: $24.72 per hour

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

About the Role

The Quality Department Team Lead plays a key role in ensuring daily operational excellence within the Quality Department of our window manufacturing facility. This role supports the Supervisor/Manager by training, coaching, and developing employees; monitoring quality processes; ensuring compliance with company standards; and maintaining accuracy and safety throughout the department. The Quality Team Lead helps direct the workflow of materials and team activities to optimize productivity, quality, and safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all Westlake Safety Policies.
  • Exhibit consistent attendance, punctuality, and scheduling flexibility.
  • Promote and support a zero-injury safety culture.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Quality team members.
  • Ensure employees follow all policies and procedures related to quality and inventory handling.
  • Direct and support employees as needed to meet departmental objectives.
  • Oversee daily quality control and department operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Computer and software experience.
  • Previous quality experience in warehousing or manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Exposure to temperature extremes and high noise levels.
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours), perform repetitive movements, bend, twist, and use hand tools.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and navigate stairs.
