The Quality Systems Technician is responsible for the review, approval, and release of quality documentation and data packages to customers in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements and internal procedures. This role ensures that manufacturing, inspection, and test records are complete, accurate, and compliant prior to customer submission.

In addition to data package review and release, the Quality Systems Technician supports continuous improvement of quality documentation, records management, and system processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review manufacturing, inspection, and test records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements
  • Approve and release quality data packages and documentation to customers
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer questions related to documentation clarity and completeness (non-investigative)
  • Maintain and organize quality records in accordance with ISO 9001 and internal retention requirements
  • Support improvements to documentation workflows, templates, forms, and record-control practices
  • Identify documentation gaps or recurring issues and communicate them to Quality Engineering or Management
  • Support audits by providing records, traceability, objective evidence, and evaluating gaps
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and data integrity policies
  • Customer interface to help solve quality issues
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • What We’re Looking For

  • One (1) years’ experience within the Diamond Turning Industry or prior experience in a similar and/or equivalent work experience role.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Familiar with FDA, GMPs, GDP, SPIs, SOPs, ISO, GD&T and internal quality systems.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments on time.
  • Must be organized and make decisions within the scope of the assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and understand both optical and traditional blueprints. Ability to follow directions
  • Work as a team member.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    One (1) years’ experience within the Diamond Turning Industry or prior experience in a similar and/or equivalent work experience role.

  • EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in a technical, manufacturing, or quality-related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • SAFETY:
  • Maintains safety for all employees assigned to Quality Assurance.
  • Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety and fire prevention equipment within Quality Assurance as prescribed by company policies.
  • Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to 603OPTX Company Policies.
