Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) to support our Propulsion South Carolina (PSC) team based in North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift.

The selected candidate will be responsible for, but are not limited to, performing tasks in the areas including pre-shift planning, crew meetings, production control, process improvement and Lean/BPS. First Pass Quality is a top priority when work is reviewed for completion. You are expected to complete assigned tasks and essential functions of the job. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.

• Provides objective evidence of results.

• Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.

• Identifies and documents discrepancies.

• Segregates and controls non-conforming items.

• Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.

• Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.

• Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years experience in manufacturing operations, quality, or other related field

• Experience with using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers and dial indicators, etc.

• 1+ years of experience in conducting Compliance, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Tool Control and/or Audit assessment.

• Willing to work 1st or 2nd shift on a rotational basis, as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Proficient in all forms of NCR and EPD generation (NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU and RGEN Revision etc)

• Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

Shift: 

This position is for a variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be assigned a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on your assigned work shift until a re-evaluation is required. Shifts assigned for training may differ from your permanent work shift.

Summary Pay Range: $49,300 - $66,700
