As a Summer Quality Lab Technician, you’ll support the Quality team in monitoring product quality and ensuring that all dairy products meet Agropur’s food safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities may include:
Collecting product samples from production for testing
Performing basic laboratory testing and quality checks
Recording and documenting test results accurately
Assisting with environmental monitoring and sanitation verification
Supporting product quality checks throughout the production process
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the quality lab
Following all food safety, quality, and safety procedures
Communicating any quality concerns to the Quality team
This position provides valuable exposure to quality control in food manufacturing and laboratory testing processes.
High school graduate, college student, or individual interested in food science, biology, chemistry, or quality assurance
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures closely
Comfortable working in both lab and production environments
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the production and quality teams
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
Previous lab or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Experience Required:
Minimum one (1) years of experience in quality assurance or food manufacturing required.
Knowledge of quality assurance procedures, including sampling requirements and documentation review required.
Certification/Licensure Required:
HACCP certification preferred.
Skills Required:
Ability to read and understand SOPs, GMPs, HACCP, and quality-related documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic and methods to resolve quality issues.
Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and testing results.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with executives, managers, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.
Basic math plus fractions, decimals and percentages, as well as algebraic calculations.
Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.
Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
