Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Inspector to support quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Your Responsibilities:
• Verify that final work products, including statements and letters, meet written job instructions and production standards
• Examine materials by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications through visual inspection and measurement
• Reject and return unacceptable materials and complete documentation for rework when required
• Clearly explain quality issues to operators and supervisors when products do not match customer instructions
• Walk the production floor to verify job accuracy across multiple machines
• Cross-train in other departments to broaden skills, including postal, shipping, and hand table operations
• Report quality issues or concerns to senior management promptly
• Ensure all finished items leaving the facility are 100% accurate
• Enter quality and production data into internal systems
• Learn and understand the full production process and the role quality plays within it
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following safety standards, procedures, and legal requirements
Your Shift:
• Monday through Friday
• 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
You Must Have:
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic measuring skills, including the ability to read a ruler and other measurement devices
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills, including opening, saving, printing files, and entering data
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production needs
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Requirements Within This Position:
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including printed materials
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility
• Regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25+ pounds
We Would Also Prefer:
• Prior experience in the print industry or a fast-paced, high-production environment
• 3 to 5 years of related experience
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $22.50. The actual base offered depends on several factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. The listed range is one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package.
