Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Quality Inspector (f/m/d) for the Norderstedt, Germany facility.

In this exciting role, you verify routine product conformance to design requirements and provide objective evidence of results. You perform auditing, surveillance, and monitoring, identify and document discrepancies, and control non-conforming items. You also conduct preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformance, collaborate with customers during product or process verification, and initiate corrective actions for significant or repetitive issues.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Performing and documenting dimensional inspections in accordance with design records and AQL levels, as well as visual inspections for obvious defects

  • Review certification documents to ensure traceability requirements in accordance with AS9100 and Boeing quality standards

  • Supporting the team in developing inspection plans and conducting internal customer and third-party audits

  • Participating in internal and external online QA training courses

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

  • Completed technical training, apprenticeship or similar within the aerospace or automotive industry

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a comparable position

  • Proficient in the use of mechanical testing equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

  • Conversational level of German

  • Basic understanding of technical English to interpret technical drawings and other paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Ideally, you have knowledge of QA inspection methods and procedures

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experienced in using the MS Office package

  • Prior experience working with SAP is a plus
