This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions (S&PS) segment, Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) business unit.
Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Systems MCAD Designer.
This position is responsible for designing wiring harnesses for our local OEM programs utilizing 3D Catia software.
Your Role
- Design wiring harnesses in 2D Catia per Ford rules
- Exercise quality checks utilizing DIAS, E2KS, RQA & IPS
- Complete DPA's (design studies) per Ford cadence
- Attend packaging block meetings with customer
- Document issues in Aptiv system and attend team meetings to review progress
- Support DRE's by preparing files for Ford validation Total Design Reviews
- Design harnesses in a robust and cost effective manner
Your Background
- High level of English proficiency is a must (90% or higher).
- Catia CAD software knowledge/experience
- Teamcenter or equivalent PLM software experience
- 3 + years of industry experience
- Associates Degree in Engineering
