Role Summary:
This person will be joining a dynamic team environment where they will be responsible to provide engineering support regarding the resolution of Customer Returns, work on projects to improve Product Quality, and facilitate Engineering Investigations of various complexity.
You will be working alongside top engineering mentors where you will be able to learn and grow over your internship while also getting the opportunity to work with state of the art equipment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct testing and validation of customer return material using lab equipment, automated test equipment and application test platforms.
Support and Drive investigation for root cause analysis of customer and internal failures.
Coordinate with various suppliers, vendors and test houses for engineering services/activities
Maintain and improve internal quality processes, procedures, databases, etc.
Support the design of Failure Analysis Platforms for New Product Introduction and assist with developing in house capabilities
Support Product Quality Investigations for Defect Rate reduction, customer satisfaction and continual improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
3rd or 4th year Engineering student who is eligible for a 16-month co-op/internship position
Enrolled in either Electrical, Electronics, Engineering Physics, or related degree program
Experience or knowledge of Semiconductors, Integrated Circuits, Lasers/Photonics
Familiar with lab equipment such as: Oscilloscopes, BERTs, Signal Generators, Multi-Meters, Power Supplies, etc.
Proven ability to solve problems, troubleshoot and analyze data using statistical concepts and tools
Ability to work with minimal guidance when necessary, and manage own time effectively
A team player with good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to smoothly interact and communicate with all levels of the organization

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $55,000 - $59,280. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
