Responsibilities:
Participate in the design and testing of processes, mechanisms, and equipment to meet quality standards.
Develop standardized quality acceptance criteria and write detailed inspection procedures.
Review and evaluate in-process rejections, obtain dispositions, and implement corrective actions as required.
Conduct and participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Utilize statistical analysis and other control/risk mitigation techniques to improve quality processes.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality control procedures and findings.
Work closely with production, engineering, and other teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into the product lifecycle.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
0-2 Years experience as a Quality Engineer or in a related field.
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
Familiarity with Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements.
Basic understanding of manufacturing and inspection.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
Experience in manufacturing and inspection.
General knowledge of ISO9001, AS9001 standards.
Essential Functions:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
Requirement to be on feet for a significant portion of the work shift.
Majority of work hours spent on a computer.
Hand/finger dexterity for using testing and inspection tools.
Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
Occasional travel may be required for audits and supplier visits.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $64,853.15 - $89,173.08. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
