As a Lead Engineer, Systems, Service Engineering, you will be responsible for:
Systems Engineering & Requirements Management
Support the design and development of digital NPDs using a Systems Engineering approach.
Manage requirements definition, breakdown, prioritization, and flow‑down across software/analytics architecture, subsystems, products, and components.
Create and maintain requirement specifications, Functional Design Specifications, and design review materials.
Maintain a deep understanding of system intended use, expected capabilities, and subsystem/component interactions.
Technology Assesment & System Design
Assess and categorize new technologies and products to ensure alignment with system requirements and design intent.
Implement plans with guidance to meet technical requirements of assigned components and systems.
Verification, Validation & Lifecycle Management
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Manage the lifecycle of digital service solutions after deployment.
Develop action plans to address technical issues or problems.
Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with other functional digital services teams, including software, infrastructure, data science, service delivery, and digital product leadership.
Prepare and present technical reports to internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor/Masters' degree in Engineering or equivalent
Have knowledge of core IET products and services and proven experience in the OEM Digital Services area
Strong positive attitude about performance and teamwork
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Comfortable in Agile environments, with a problem-solving mindset
Be fluent both in English and in Italian (oral and written) and hold an EU passport or work permit
Desired Requirements
Have Knowledge of appropriate and relevant Industry Specifications, Standards and Regulations
Have experience of systems engineering methodologies and processes e.g. INCOSE, etc

In this role, you will travel to and work on customer sites in line with customer requirements. The duration of the work at site and the hours of work at the site will be in line with customer requirements. In between work assignments, you will have free time in line with Baker Hughes working time guidelines and fatigue management provisions.
