The Levice Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of all materials and products manufactured at the site by leading and governing the Quality Control function. The role provides strategic and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team, embedding robust analytical, microbiological, and quality systems that comply with Haleon requirements and applicable regulatory frameworks (GMP, HACCP, ISO, MDR, and Cosmetics regulations). By fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, the role ensures inspection readiness, effective investigation and CAPA management, and sustained performance through clear KPIs and sound budget stewardship. Acting as a key site representative with regulatory authorities and external bodies, the Quality Control Manager also contributes to cross‑functional excellence, smart laboratory operations, and the long‑term quality and compliance strategy of the Levice site.

Role responsibilities:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Oversee the quality of raw materials, components, intermediate, and finished products by ensuring they meet the highest standards and specifications through analytical, microbial, and other testing methods.
Direct the Quality Control department by guiding, managing, and supporting a team of around 20 dedicated Quality professionals.
Set an example for Health & Safety practices in the workplace, fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing, encouraging incident reporting, and ensuring risks are clearly defined and minimized.
Ensure adherence to HACCP and GMP guidelines during both site and laboratory activities to avoid microbial and other forms of contamination in products and equipment. This includes adequate procedures, practices, and environmental controls.
Make sure all quality and compliance standards for the Quality Control department are established, applied, and upheld according to Haleon requirements, ISO standards, Medical Device Regulation, Cosmetics regulations, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Maintain readiness in the laboratory for inspections from health authorities, notified body assessments, and external audits.
Implement robust quality systems and procedures in Quality Control, maintain them diligently, and ensure their active usage. Lead complex lab investigations such as Out of Specification and Out of Trend cases. Develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) addressing issues arising from audits, deviations, and incidents, monitoring their effectiveness and timely completion.
Promote continuous improvement aligned with business and site objectives, enhancing growth and learning in the team. Set, track, and report Quality Control KPIs consistent with Haleon and site priorities, identify major trends, and drive ongoing improvement efforts.
Take responsibility for setting and managing the Quality Control budget, ensuring capital spending supports compliant laboratory facilities, systems, and equipment.
Offer strategic leadership in Quality Control for site operations, HACCP controls, and environmental programs.
Work closely with Site Quality Leadership and other leaders to support efficient cross-functional operations, drive continuous improvements, and maintain a strong culture of Safety and Quality.
Represent the site in dealings with Regulatory Authorities and industry associations, contributing to smart laboratory operations and HACCP principles, while bringing in external benchmarks and insights.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
University degree in science, chemical engineering or a relevant field.
Fluent in Slovak and English.
At least 5 years of management leadership experience in Quality Control in manufacturing environment.
Experience in a consumer/pharmaceutical/biotech/ medical device/food/cosmetics industry or equivalent manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
Significant direct people leadership experience.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to use data for tactical and strategic decision-making.
Excellent project management and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A team player who fosters collaboration and promotes company values.
Digital IT skills – forward-thinking mindset and ability to leverage modern IT technologies.
