Quality Control Engineer - Quality Lab

We are hiring a Quality Control Engineer for our India Quality lab to strengthen our global Quality Operations organization. This role is designed for a technically sharp, execution-focused professional who can translate global quality strategy into measurable, on-the-ground impact. You will be part of a fast moving team of quality professionals who conduct hands-on inspections of products and paperwork submitted by our suppliers on our supplier portal to solve quality assurance problems for customized parts. In this role your primary responsibilities will be:

Requirements for applicants

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 plus years of experience in dimensional inspection of manufactured parts
• Ability to Read/interpret advanced blueprints, assembly drawings, angularity, profile and various
• datum’s.
• Hands-on experience on Handling Quality gauges/instruments/equipment such as Verniers,
• Micrometers, Linear Height Master(LH600), Bore gauges, Roughness tester, Hardness tester,
• VMM etc..
• Working knowledge of and/or education, skills, and experience associated with manufacturing
• process methods.
• Familiar with material certifications, inspection reports, and other related certifications (plating,
• hardware, etc..)
• Capable of developing Dimensional Inspection Reports and Ballooned Drawings
• Great personable skills to interact with suppliers
• A self-starter, who can drive actions to completion.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Manufacturing knowledge and Inspect mechanical products
• Able to read and interpret Drawings
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and write English
• Mastery of surface plate inspection skills

Work Environment:

• The work environment will be in physical inspection of machined parts at our quality lab.
• Occasional travel to partner or customer sites outside Bengaluru may be necessary.
