Job Summary

As a Quality Conformance Management (QCM) professional at A400M MRO & Retrofit Quality Team in Getafe, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our products and processes consistently meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our defense and space solutions, contributing to the safety and success of our critical missions.

Job Responsibilities

* **Quality Assurance & Compliance:** Implement and monitor quality management systems and processes to ensure full compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and relevant national and international regulations (e.g., AS/EN 9100, PERAM 145 military standards).
* **Auditing & Surveillance:** Conduct internal and external audits, assessments, and surveillance activities of products, processes, and suppliers to identify non-conformances, assess risks, and drive continuous improvement.
* **Non-Conformance Management:** Lead the investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution of non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified.
* **Process Improvement:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, production, supply chain) to identify opportunities for process optimization, defect prevention, and enhancement of overall product quality.
* **Documentation & Reporting:** Maintain comprehensive quality records, prepare detailed reports on quality performance, audit findings, and corrective action status for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
* **Training & Awareness:** Provide guidance and training to personnel on quality policies, procedures, and best practices to foster a strong quality culture throughout the organization.
* **Risk Management:** Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies related to product quality and compliance.

Job Qualifications

* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Quality Management, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* **Experience:** Proven experience (typically 3-5+ years) in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Conformance Management within the aerospace, defense, or a highly regulated manufacturing industry. Experience in P145 organizations will be a plus.
* **Technical Knowledge:** Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., AS/EN 9100, ISO 9001) and their implementation. Familiarity with PERAM 145 regulations, military standards, and other relevant aerospace quality requirements is highly desirable.
* **Auditing Skills:** Certified Internal or Lead Auditor certification (e.g., AS/EN 9100 Lead Auditor) is a significant advantage.
* **Analytical Skills:** Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong aptitude for root cause analysis tools and techniques (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys).
* **Communication:** Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
* **Teamwork:** Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and collaborate across different departments.
* **Software Proficiency:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Quality Management System software is a plus.
* **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision.
