QA Engineer, Associate
We are looking for an Associate QA Engineer to joining our team in Brecksville!
You will be responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and methods for assembling materials into partially finished or finished products. You will also be implementing and managing compliance of assembly processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards and requirements.

Salary/hourly rate: $76,200 - $100,000

YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Support assembly and quality process improvement projects as an effective team member or leader using quality and continuous Improvement tools.
- Track and identify key failure modes and waste removal opportunities throughout the assembly value stream.
- Use Root Cause Analysis tools to determine the source of quality issues and work with team members to implement appropriate corrective action and generate Quality Investigation Reports for findings with recommended actions.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop effective quality improvement plans to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards.
- Support the process and product audits process to ensure that products and manufacturing processes are meeting internal, customer, industry, and regulatory standards.
- Support Customer Complaint Investigations for Complaints, Return Material (RMA), and other customer identified concerns.
- Form part of the RMA investigation process including the identification of root cause and effective corrective/preventive action plans.
- Support and update the complaint portal with findings and complaint responses.
- Support in Integrating performance and conformance inspections into a failure mode tracker and analyze the data to provide trending as part of the continuous improvement and First Pass Yield (FPY) programs.
- Guide and promote the use of techniques in a Problem-Solving approach using continuous improvement tools such as Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Fish-Bone Diagrams, 5-Whys Analysis, 8D’s, among other tools.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Quality
- 2+ years of related experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and regulatory standards (GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Experience analyzing production data, evaluating nonconformances, and implementing corrective actions
- Strong understanding of quality documentation practices and product assurance requirements
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer/vendor interaction
- Ability to support audits and apply quality engineering principles in fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical interpretation skills with attention to detail
- Commitment to continuous improvement, accuracy, and fostering a quality-focused team culture
