Quality Assurance Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer reviews email creative and email HTML, validates dynamic data, provides feedback, and gives final approval for email deployments to ensure high-quality email campaign production.

What you will do: 

  • Review HTML and plain text emails across various device/browser platforms to ensure consistency in copy, links, content, and rendering, as well as Ansira's best practices for email design. 

  • Perform interactive testing in email inboxes on different devices and platforms to verify functional elements meet requirements. 

  • Review client briefs for projects and attend tech kickoff meetings, providing insights into testing approaches, calling out technical risks, and providing estimates on planned quality assurance task time. 

  • Provide detailed feedback for defects and observations in Jira.  

  • Complete QA Checklist for each campaign and provide final sign-off/certification. 

  • Meet aggressive deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and a positive, team-centric attitude. 

  • Work with development, campaign management, and engagement teams in a collaborative way to deliver a standard experience across platforms and devices. 

  • Work with onshore and offshore QA team members under the Quality Assurance Lead. 

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3 or more years of direct quality assurance experience in a technology-related field or industry, Marketing technology highly preferred but not required  

  • Languages: Native English proficiency level of speaking, reading, and writing  

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience  

  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment  

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight  

  • Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills with an impeccable eye for detail  

  • Familiarity with Email Service Provider platforms and supporting tools, ie Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MessageGears, Cheetah, Acoustic, Adobe Campaign, Litmus, Everest/Validity, etc. 

  • Good understanding of the latest trends in processes efficiencies and methodologies  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
