ArianeGroup GmbH in Lampoldshausen is looking for a ‘Development Engineer (m/f/d)’ for the department ‘Electrical Propulsion’ with immediate effect.

Coordinate and carry out development tasks for electric drive systems:
Discuss designs with potential UANs together with procurement and prepare documentation for ordering
Coordinate and plan development activities with interfaces and align them with overarching milestones.
Control process planning and correct deviations
Create development plans for the qualification and delivery of components and coordinate with other departments, estimate costs
Initiate and monitor component production, approve production, create test plans
Analyse customer requirements, define and coordinate requirements for assemblies or components, modify if necessary
Ensure that components are developed on time, on budget, on quality and in line with functionality and installation requirements
Pursue innovations in processes, materials, design and methodology, test them for applicability for the maturation of new technologies and products, and implement them if necessary
Take appropriate measures to eliminate and minimise identified risks
Coordinate the necessary tests:
Define verification objectives and test plans, including test objectives
Monitor and supervise test setup and execution, initiate necessary corrective measures
Check test procedures and test results, compare results with predictions or previous behaviour, investigate, explain and rectify anomalies, create test reports and implement the results in the technical documentation for the customer
Project support and quotations:
Preparation of technical quotation documentation
Conducting progress meetings
Preparation of reports and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements
Clarification of problems and risk assessment with team leader or manager
You have the following qualifications:
Completed university degree (Master's) in aerospace, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable field
More than 3 years of professional experience
Very good knowledge of electric propulsion systems and diagnostics
Very good knowledge of vacuum technologies
Practical knowledge in the field of integration or testing desirable
Fluent English and German skills
