The Role

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer II to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure high-quality, reliable releases across our product ecosystem. In this role, you’ll create scalable automated test suites, collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test strategies, and drive quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle. This position sits on the Quality Assurance Team, a team that builds testing infrastructure, enhances automation coverage, and champions quality across engineering. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and strong in both problem-solving and technical communication.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using modern tools and languages.
  • Develop scalable automated test suites that run reliably in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Partner with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Identify automation opportunities and prioritize what to automate for maximum impact.
  • Debug test failures, analyze logs, and isolate root causes in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Perform code reviews for automation contributions and promote best practices.
  • Contribute to improving testing efficiency, reliability, and overall quality engineering processes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide clear updates on automation progress, risks, and coverage.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for web, mobile, or API applications.
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experienced in building or maintaining automation frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and software testing best practices.
  • Skilled at debugging, root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly convey technical information.
  • College Degree Preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

The typical base salary range for this position is INR 1,100,000 - INR 1,500,000 per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
