Quality Assurance Auditor - 2nd ShiftQuality Assurance Auditor- Evening Shift
In this role, you will apply established quality criteria, regulatory standards, measurement skills, and keen attention to detail to ensure conformance of incoming materials and finished product. You will ensure that our customers receive the world’s finest Resilient Wedge Gate Valves for water utility applications. Your skills will be put to the test in a fast-paced environment where we assemble materials from multiple domestic and international vendors. Our goal is not only to provide the world’s finest water valves, but also to establish and maintain best-in-class quality management practices to support the production of the next generation of water infrastructure products. These products are critical for delivering clean and safe drinking water to communities across North America. Our manufacturing methods include foundry (ductile iron), machining, powder coating, assembly, and other external processes. This role is focused on conducting quality audits, verifying process adherence, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting corrective and preventive action activities. The ideal candidate will be familiar with foundry operations, machining processes, coating applications, and mechanical assembly.
We maintain an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system and require quality inspections and testing for internal processes, purchased components, and finished products. Across these processes, the ideal candidate will collaborate and support the quality, manufacturing, and materials management teams to sustain and continuously improve Mueller’s Quality Management System.
