Job Description

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for evaluating processes, systems, and deliverables to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and expectations. This role performs detailed reviews, testing, and data analysis to identify defects or areas for improvement and partners with stakeholders to implement corrective actions. The QA Analyst ensures work products meet quality benchmarks and supports continuous improvement across the organization. This position is dedicated to Service Oklahoma (SOK).  

Job Details

  • Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
  • Support the Information Services Division; Dedicated to Service Oklahoma (SOK).
  • Salary is up to $89,250.00 based on education and experience.
  • This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all quality assurance activities for Service Oklahoma.
  • Consult with IT business analysts to elicit requirements specific enough to be verifiable.
  • Collaborates with development, DevOps, program, and product team members to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions as well as reliable services.
  • Develop and execute test plans for new and existing features.
  • Coordinate all testing activities.
  • Provide reports on test results to project leadership.
  • Verify adherence to project-mandated processes and procedures related to Quality Assurance.
  • Contribute to business process mapping, as well as process and service improvements.
  • Evaluate user and technical documentation, including diagrams, models, manuals, and procedure documents, are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Make recommendations in reducing or mitigating project risks affecting service quality.
  • Assist in identifying defects and verifying fixes for production support issues.
  • Establish project defect tracking methodology, and documents defects with clear and concise defect reproduction information.
  • Participates in bug life cycle management – defect tracking, defect reporting, defect analysis and defect verification.
  • Other duties as required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and experience requirements consist of a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience in the quality assurance field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience for each year of the required education.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess

  • Agile/Scrum Experience
  • Microsoft Azure and/or GCP Experience
  • CI/CD experience working with DevOps engineers
  • Strong troubleshooting/debugging experience
