Quality Assurance Analyst

Technology Development is the development, coding and programming of applications for systems for the business to process transactions.  Includes business analysis to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems, as well as quality assurance, testing and monitoring.

Designs, implements and supports compliance and ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes and standards. Also performs evaluation of internal controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to compliance with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Identifies risk and evaluates deficiencies while working with internal departments/business units to appropriately remedy them. Designs and facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures. Performs audits and risk assessment and determine corrective actions if needed.

  • Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concept

  • Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems

  • Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.

Functional Knowledge:

  • Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines

  • No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for developing technical contribution

  • Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments

  • Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding

Compensation

Salary Range: CAD $55,000 – $62,000. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location
