- Design, maintain, and execute test cases and test data to provide appropriate coverage across functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and user acceptance testing, applying risk-based and exploratory testing techniques where appropriate.
- Identify, document, and manage defects through effective triage, prioritisation, and timely escalation of quality issues and risks.
- Support the Test Lead in the planning, coordination, and reporting of testing activities across project initiatives and BAU releases, including contributions to test plans, test summaries, and status reporting.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects, supporting artefacts such as the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
- Collaborate with business, delivery, and technology stakeholders to provide testing input, clarify requirements, validate solutions, and support User Acceptance Testing.
- Participate in delivery forums, contributing to estimation, planning, and delivery commitments from a testing perspective.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, and standards, supporting the embedding of consistent, fit-for-purpose quality approaches across MECCA.
- Provide input into post-implementation reviews, identifying quality outcomes, defects, and improvement opportunities.
- Support and mentor other QA Analysts as required, fostering collaboration and shared capability.
- Contribute to the development, execution, and maintenance of automated test suites and frameworks, supporting regression testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support the Test Lead and wider team in improving automation capability, including scope definition, prioritisation, knowledge sharing, and uplift of automation practices.
