At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.
In indirect tax at PwC, you will focus value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax and other indirect taxes. Your work will involve providing advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex indirect tax regulations and optimise their indirect tax positions.

Minimum years experience required
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Foreign Trade, International Business, International Relations, International Trade, Law, or a related field (may be substituted with over 5 years of experience in the foreign trade sector; however, a professional degree is required).
- Advanced conversational English.
- Up to 4 years of experience (experience in consulting firms is desirable).
- Monitoring and support in audits and procedures for Industry Promotion Programs such as IMMEX and PROSEC. (Essential experience).
- Monitoring and support in audits and procedures for VAT/IEPS Certification (Essential experience).
- Knowledge of the application of foreign trade rules from the Ministry of Economy and the Tax Administration Service (Essential experience).
- Providing advice, monitoring, and execution of SAT audits in foreign trade matters. *Responding to requests from the competent authority in foreign trade matters; on-site visits and desk reviews.
- Advising on foreign trade considering treaties, laws, regulations, and current legislation in this area.
- Analysis of legislative changes for application in foreign trade operations.
- Knowledge of Rules of Origin under the USMCA: Criteria and Procedures (Desirable experience).
- Experience working collaboratively, under defined objectives and within diverse scenarios and deadlines.
- Self-leadership, team management, and direct customer service and interaction.
- Effective and assertive communication.
