Are you looking to grow your career in a dynamic and fast-paced supply chain environment? We are seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Officer to support our operations by ensuring efficient procurement and logistics coordination.

About the role:

The Purchasing & Logistics Officer is responsible for managing purchase orders and coordinating related procurement activities to ensure a timely and accurate supply of goods and materials. This role also oversees logistics operations, including the planning and execution of outbound deliveries, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth order fulfillment. The position plays a key role in maintaining efficient supply chain processes, ensuring proper documentation, tracking shipments, and supporting overall operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assist the Procurement Specialist with managing purchase orders for third-party chemicals, consumables, reagents, and equipment.
  • Maintain 3PL workflows and process documentation to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate and execute outbound deliveries with the OTC team and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
  • Process supplier invoices using the Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) system.
  • Create and manage vendor records in SAP and ensure accurate goods receipt (GR) processing.
  • Support inventory management through stock reconciliations and participation in 3PL warehouse stock takes.
  • Handle other ad-hoc procurement and logistics tasks as required.

Key Competencies & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and Vendor Invoice Management systems.
  • Strong understanding of safety, health, environment, and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
