Salary Range: $20.28 - $22.5 Per Hour

Job Summary: This position is located at the historic Hacienda, Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. This position will have a first cut off of May 19, 2026, and applicants that submit a complete application packet prior to that date and found eligible may be given first consideration.

Major Duties:

  • Represents the Hacienda organization at community and other events. Provides tours or presentations of the Historic Hacienda to small groups. May assist in conducting event, marketing of flyers, and other promotional material.
  • Completes basic administrative duties as needed by the Business Operation Officer and Assistant Business Manager. Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides information from own knowledge or office files.
  • Listens and responds to guest queries and requests. Ensures adequate stock of cleaning supplies. Observes and reports any maintenance issues to chain of command, submits work orders as directed.
  • Maintains all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, sweep all areas of establishment. Cleans sinks, tubs, showers and toilets according to standards. Polish fittings and fixtures.
  • Cleans mirrors and windows. Sort and wash laundry using machines or by hand as required. Empty and clean trash cans.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have experience working with the general public. High Desirable: At least six (6) months of experience providing customer service to facility/operations patrons, including answering questions (telephonically, in person or via email), conducting basic clerical work (filing, printing, etc.). At least six (6) months of experience with Housekeeping or Custodial Worker duties. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess a minimum of six (6) months clerical work experience.
