At Neogen, we are looking for a Purchasing Analyst to manage strategic negotiations and ensure the supply of materials and inputs with quality, deadlines, and competitive costs.
- Perform item quotations based on requests, evaluating potential suppliers and negotiating the best cost, terms, and benefits for the company.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the acquisition of products and materials within established specifications and standards of quality, price, deadlines, and conditions.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor the process until delivery and verification, performing follow-up at each stage.
- Develop and qualify new product suppliers, aiming to create alternative sources of supply in partnership with R&D – Planning and Development.
- Ensure production inputs maintain adequate stock levels to avoid line stoppages and production delays.
