Additionally, you will:
Increasingly provide supply base expertise to SNC proposals and programs, knowing the suppliers well enough to be able to facilitate and guide cross-functional sourcing and supplier management activities
Ensure accurate requirements are defined and understood and accepted by the supplier(s)
Foster and lead supplier-related communication and relationships - information to and from the supplier will flow through you
Act as the Point of Contact between SNC / Program(s) and the supply base
As the Supply Management representative, you will own the relationship between SNC and your suppliers, even as you facilitate executive and PM interaction with these suppliers
Lead negotiations to include, but not limited to, deliverable requirements, terms and conditions, pricing, schedule, and simple milestone development
Document acquisitions and maintain files in compliance with government regulations, company policy, and best business practices, and provide audit support as required
Track and communicate progress on RFQs and POs
Identify risks and opportunities, and as assigned, develop risk management/mitigation plans and strategies
Status supply base activity to programs and theSCM organization
As assigned, develop and drive given Category strategy integration with stakeholders across the BA(s) and enterprise
You are the bridge between SNC and our supply base to ensure a collaborative approach to strategic thinking and problem solving – cross-functional collaboration both internally and externally will be expected
Support department goals including, but not limited to: on-time delivery, negotiations, and PR processing time, to name a few
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Supply chain or logistics experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance
Experience working in CostPoint or other ERP systems
Proficiency in oral and written communications
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Understanding of all aspects of finance and accounting related to procurement
Complete understanding of the procurement lifecycle
Relevant certifications (CPIM, CSSP, CPM, etc.)
