Position Location: Budapest, Hungary
Position Summary:
The role is responsible for executing specified Accounts Payable projects in a timely manner and plays a key part in supporting ongoing system and process migrations. The position requires end-to-end knowledge of the overall P2P process. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the full P2P cycle and accounting principles and will be assigned to specific tasks or fixed-term projects that address particular needs or drive improvements within the P2P process.
In addition to project responsibilities, the individual is expected to build strong operational knowledge and be able to transition into or support daily operations when needed, providing functional assistance across both the Support Center and the Solution & Compliance Center teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects with a focus on improving and/or stabilizing the impacted Accounts Payable processes.
- Utilize E2E knowledge to effectively support the PTP Operations (both Support & Compliance and the Solution Centers Teams)
- Leverage comprehensive operational expertise and a strong understanding of daily activities to provide expert-level, long-term support and ownership for the Operations teams. This deep operational knowledge is essential, as it enables the individual to effectively transition into and contribute within the operational environment when needed.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements related to P2P processes.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, audit requirements, SOX requirements, and VAT rules.
- Contribute to the department’s Operational Improvement agenda and PPI Journey
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks; support identification of process gaps or pain points and propose creative, practical solutions.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure process improvements and harmonization with GBS EMEA processes.
- Contribute to the stabilization of new P2P processes after go-live, and support the transition to business-as-usual

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role, with a focus on Procure To Pay (P2P) processes.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AP software and ERP systems.
- Fluent in English is required, both written and spoken – fluency in German and/or French is highly desirable.
