As a Psychologist II, you’ll play a key role in delivering psychological intake evaluation and therapeutic interventions to pediatric patients and families with acute, chronic, and functional medical issues who are referred by pediatric subspecialists and primary care.  This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to providing patient‑centered, evidence‑based care.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct intake evaluations with pediatric patients and caregivers who are experiencing acute, chronic, or functional medical issues to discern diagnoses, treatment plan, and recommendations. 
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to communicate diagnoses, recommendations, and treatment progress with psychologists, medical providers, psychiatrists, and social workers. 
  • Devise treatment recommendations tailored to alleviate the specifical medical symptoms, psychological, behavioral, and emotional concerns identified during the intake evaluation.
  • Conduct evidence-based individual therapy for pediatric patients and families to address and improve emotional, psychological, behavioral, and health status. 
  • Conduct staff, faculty, and trainee educational seminars regarding clinical areas of expertise. 
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support patient care and program needs.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or a related behavioral health field.
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in the assessment and treatment of mental and psychological conditions.
  • Licensure — This role is not limited to Psychological Associates. Independent‑billing eligible licensure at the master’s level is required and may include:
    • Licensed Psychological Associate (or state equivalent)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
