Renewal by Andersen (“RbA”) is the exclusive start-to-finish retail window and patio door 
replacement division of Andersen Corporation -- the most recognized window brand in

JOB PURPOSE
The Proxy Agent is a critical role at RbA and reports directly to the proximity marketing 
manager overseeing British Columbia. The primary purpose of this position is to establish 
and execute by setting qualified appointments using the proven Renewal by Andersen 
/ Dunn Group of company’s methodology. Aid management in the ongoing staffing, 
training, and coaching of the Proximity team. Maintain clear communication with 
management and staff. Achieve appointment-setting goals by leading from the front
and providing exceptional first-class service to our homeowners.
 
Pay: $80,000 - 85,000/Year + Uncapped Bonus Potential

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
- Meet or exceed the standards for Demos, Set Rate and Attendance.

Communicating with Customers, Teammates and Authorities:
- Respect everyone’s property and the privilege to visit.
- Display courtesy, kindness, and respect to everyone without exception. Never 
argue, shout, speak sarcastically or use offensive/profane language.
- Apologize to anyone who displays tension, frustration, or dissatisfaction.
- If you encounter any complaints, verbal challenges, or unreasonable behavior 
from anyone during your canvass, contact your manager immediately.

Appearance and Professional Presentation:
- Present a clean, professional appearance from clock-in through clock-out.
- Cover tattoos and remove piercings.
- Wear assigned RbA gear (shirts, jackets, hats).
- No tattered or revealing clothing. Hems must be within three inches of your knees.
- Jewelry and earrings must be approved by the management.
- Wear comfortable, professional footwear. (Look like a professional Contractor.)
- Wear your company ID and Permit.
- No smoking is allowed in the office, the vehicles or in canvass neighborhoods.

Work Schedule & Attendance:
- Planned Days = five days per week plus a make-up day.
- Planned Hours: Maximum = 40; Minimum = 32. (At NT Marketing 
Manager/Director’s discretion).
- You need to be flexible regarding days of the week, arrival times and total workday hours due to weather, holidays, time of year, travel time, or scheduling needs.
- Schedules are posted at least two weeks ahead of the canvass.
- You will receive 48 hours’ notice of schedule changes whenever possible.
- You are not responsible for make-up days scheduled within 48 hours provided you 
advise us on the day we change the schedule.
- You must be able to work four full hours on the street without returning to the van. 
We understand and accept that personal situations may occur occasionally.
- Your attendance is critical because it directly affects every Teammate.
- You have approved Time Off for sick days, vacation, holidays, and parental 
leave.
- You are not responsible for workdays that have been changed within 48 hours.
- Excused absences, unexcused absences & attendance are explained in the 
document entitled “Performance Standards ~ Supervisors”
 
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is primarily remote based for daily tasks. Working outside of normal hours will 
be required. Other requirements for outside normal business hours may include 
onboarding and dealing with meetings, conferences, and essential duties. Attendance 
at the Company’s office located at 2748 Rupert Street, Vancouver BC will be required 
for the 4 annual quarterly meetings and potentially other business meetings. The 
Marketing Supplies regional office for Vancouver is #9-1600 Derwent Way, Delta, BC, you 
will be expected to pick up and drop off the company vehicle on working days. 

- Obtain clear commitments to the work schedule and attendance during the 
interview.
- Ensure every Marketer schedules the appropriate number of days and works the 
minimum number of hours.
- Enforce the attendance guidelines in the Marketer’s Job Description.
- Provide “counseling” to anyone who fails to meet work schedule and attendance 
guidelines. Send the updated form to your HR Specialist for their personnel folder.
Travelling to/from and Working the Canvass
- Safety is your first priority.
- You may not drive to a canvass in your own vehicle without written permission from 
the NT Marketing Manager/ Marketing Director or GM. (Managers do not have 
that authority.)
- The company vehicle may not stop except for emergencies.
- Seatbelts must be worn in the vehicle
- We are uniformed and branded everywhere we go. Act like an appreciative 
guest.
- Foul and changing weather requires you to carry extra gear for safety & protection 
including gloves, insulated clothing, umbrella, socks, and boots.
- Do not enter homes unless the customer requests it for weather reasons. If you do 
enter the home, remain by the door. You are not authorized to inspect windows 
from the inside.
- Personal cell phone use is required for phone conversations with management 
and the office. No personal calls or texts from clock-in to clock-out unless you are 
on an approved break. Contact management with all emergencies.
- You may only visit the addresses assigned to you. If you stop visiting the assigned 
properties, call your Manager/Director/GM immediately.
- You may carry water and snacks in your belt or pockets. You may keep food in 
the company vehicle in leakproof containers
