PT-Regional SupportESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver learning to teammates through live/virtual curriculum and field-based hands-on training
Vett potential ADM Mentors for program approval through RO audits, GM interviews, and field audits to ensure proper admittance into the TAP Mentor Program
Support Apprentices and Mentors through the 12-18 months of TAP Program through field visits/audits, RO audits, and program progress check-ins leading to successful graduation
Support Changing Lanes ADM Programs and curriculum; act as Instructor back-up as required at shop classroom location
Recommend and coordinate necessary training for areas of need based on quality reviews and industry trends & best practices
Mentor Mobile Diagnostic & Mechanical Technicians and TAP Mentors to ensure the Protech Standards of quality and compliance are attained and sustained
Assist in development and enforcement of quality control processes developed in coordination with R&D and Protech Ops teams
Assess teammate training needs and develop materials and course recommendations that will help teammates understand subject matter to bring the most value to their role
Follow up with teammates regarding training in-person or through conference calls
Build and maintain partnerships and act as liaison with Protech field leadership and other support departments
Provide field leadership and mentorship to Technicians, Mentors and Apprentices where required
Alignment of top-down vision, goals and objectives from business strategy flowing through to successful completion of company objectives.
Measure ongoing field performance assessment, research and development of new required field capabilities, and systematically apply knowledge for learner success.
Assist evaluation of training sessions created by the training team
Identify opportunities and make training/operational recommendations to improve overall field processes and procedures
Oversee and execute special projects as needed
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or tech school graduate
Training or teaching experience preferred
ASE, I-CAR and/or other industry certifications preferred and must be maintained
4 years mechanical experience in the field of automotive diagnostic and mechanical preferred
Strong knowledge of vehicle electronics, OE software and scan tools
Working knowledge of CCC One, Estimating Systems and Microsoft Excel
Ability to read and understand instructions, workflows, written estimates and work orders
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Strong project management, organization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to adapt easily to changing, fast-paced environments
Professional demeanor with a positive attitude, geared toward customer service
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
