What this opportunity involves:

We are seeking a Property Manager to join us on one of our prestigious corporate client account. This is a exciting opportunity as the account is going through growth and you will have the opportunity to focus on both comprehensive property and lease management across a diverse portfolio of owned properties and leased premises, delivering exceptional real estate management services as part of a geographically dispersed team.

This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to attend our Melbourne CBD office a minimum of three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage comprehensive property operations including property on/off-boarding, building and statutory compliance, asset management, and critical lease dates management across the client portfolio
  • Oversee lease administration and rent roll management ensuring accurate maintenance of lease terms in the portfolio database with >98% data accuracy and timely lease information updates
  • Provide strategic property advisory services acting as subject matter expert and trusted advisor on end-to-end property management, lease obligations, and optimization strategies
  • Execute financial management processes including reconciliation, budget preparation, monthly/annual reporting, and supporting finance processes to improve accuracy and reporting timelines
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with landlords, sub-tenants, client facilities management team, and internal JLL teams to exceed service delivery expectations
  • Implement best practice property management including standard condition reports, comprehensive annual calendars, and regular abstraction sessions for critical property needs
  • Handle lease negotiations and compliance managing landlord and sub-tenant obligations per lease terms while supporting transaction and lease administration performance
  • Ensure effective conflict of interest management in accordance with client-endorsed JLL processes, including prompt notification and resolution strategies

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate or equivalent (preferred)
  • Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration with in-depth knowledge of lease negotiations and property operations
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in property transactions and associated services with demonstrated track record in property management
  • Strong technical skills including proficiency in industry-standard software for financial analysis, reporting, and property management systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities with proven capability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders including tenants, investors, and senior executives
  • Goal-oriented approach with ability to manage complex issues concurrently within tight operational deadlines while meeting performance targets
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental requirements and general facility management principles
