About the role
 

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the growing Property Management team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Our Property Managers look after a portfolio of properties and generate portfolio growth through client relationships and cultivating new opportunities. Our Sales Representatives enjoy continued and prolonged success in the local area, with many return client’s.  Our BDM role has the benefit of utilising these existing client connections, as well as a steady stream of enquiries into the office, to achieve the Branch goals.  Your understanding of Residential Tenancy Legislation and industry experience within the local area will assist you in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their current and future needs. Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager you will provide knowledgeable and efficient services to achieve portfolio number and earning targets by: 

  • Building and maintaining client relationships to understand their current & future needs 
  • Identifying and cultivating new opportunities for new and existing clients’ investments 
  • Carrying out general property appraisals – both desktop and physical site visits
  • Preparation of necessary documents for new and existing landlords, ensuring completion of all legislative and compliance requirements
  • Working with the Elders team to allow clients to explore new innovative opportunities 
  • Create a presence and profile in the local area, therefore maximising promotional opportunities

About you

To succeed at Elders, you: 

  • Possess an understanding of Residential Tenancy Legislation and property compliance
  • Hold a current driver’s licence
  • Have excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills 
  • Have a keen eye for detail    
  • Are a team player who is enthusiastic, energetic and highly organised with good time management skills 
  • Are smart, resourceful, forward thinking and embrace technology 
  • Have a passion for and a genuine enjoyment of working in the Real Estate industry and interacting with all of the various people and places that come along with this
