Responsibilities and Duties
The Leventhal School of Accounting is recruiting a Faculty and Operations Project Specialist to join its talented, highly motivated team. The candidate will provide support to the operations team, faculty, doctoral students, and academic programs. Working under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for (1) assisting faculty and staff with overall administration, operations and events; (2) supporting accounting faculty and PhD research workshops; (3) assisting special program planning; (4) processing financial transactions and reports; (5) coordinating event logistics, communications, and marketing; (6) maintaining our SharePoint and internal files; and (7) collaborating with the entire Leventhal faculty and staff in executing the School’s strategic plans.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in fast-paced environments, preferably at an educational institution or at a nonprofit. In addition, the candidate should possess a high level of attention to detail and good organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential to the success of this role, as well as the ability to work with team members, faculty, students, and university partners.
Anticipated Hiring Range:
The hourly rate for this position is $30.14 – $38.71. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
