The role will work closely with our team of Project Managers, Change Managers and PMO team as well as our IT department and the wider organisation to identify business need and translate business requirements to projects and process improvements - supporting the wider organization with high class project delivery and participate in the continuous growth and improvement of the GSMA.

About the Team
The Project Services & Change Team in the GSMA provides project and change management capabilities to deliver change initiatives across the mobile industry. Working in close partnership with subject matter experts within the GSMA and from across the mobile industry, the team manages a wide range of projects in all areas of the organisation, including Technology, Product Development, Marketing and Events, as well as internal facing projects in IT, Finance and HR.
As part of the project delivery, the Project Services team also provides change expertise to GSMA projects to guide the implementation of change initiatives within the organisation.
Project Services is the delivery engine for projects across the GSMA. As well as delivering projects to agreed cost, quality and timelines, the Project Services team maintains a strong focus on delivering benefits to our colleagues, our members and to the mobile industry.
About the Role
The Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business needs and technical as well as process solutions. The role focuses on understanding business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating requirements into clear actions which will drive projects and process improvement initiatives.

About You
This is a hands-on Business Analyst role; successful candidates are required to be self-motivated and able to work autonomously to a high standard.

Delivery - Demonstrates the ability to translate project requirements into clear, actionable tasks which support initiatives being delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standard.
Teamwork - Works collaboratively with stakeholders, acting as bridge between business needs and technical as well as process solutions to ensure alignment, knowledge sharing, and seamless delivery across workstreams.
Stakeholder Management - Builds strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring requirements are understood, communicated effectively, and managed through to agreement and successful outcome.
Analysis - Strong analytical skills are essential, along with interpreting data, documenting processes, identifying issues or gaps and developing evidence-based recommendations to enable informed decision-making. Experience working with large datasets and strong skills in Excel are preferred, with a demonstrated ability to quickly and independently learn new tools.
Innovation - Brings forward creative ideas, tools, and approaches to improve internal processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall project delivery capability.
